Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Medicine and Department of Chemistry and the Department of Biology Osijek know that without the mutual cooperation and linking of related fields of science there are no top results and major projects. And this is the reason that they decided to join forces and organize togather scientific conference for young scientists and researchers from Osijek University. The organizer of the whole event is the project investigator Stela Joki\u0107, PhD.
\nThe “Young scientist day” has attracted more than a hundred authors – PhD students and postgraduates, who were on June 14, in Auli Rectorate presented the results of their research and projects. The gathering was a chance to exchange and create new ideas and friendships, acquire knowledge, skills and competences for working on a science-research and teaching field, and linking them together as a basis for future joint collaboration.
\nOne of the oral lectures titled “Green Extraction Techniques of Bioactive Components from Cocoa Shell” was presented by Nika Pavlovi\u0107, team member on the project “Application of innovative techniques for the extraction of bioactive components from by-products of plant origin” (UIP-2017-05-9909).<\/p>\n
