During their stay, she worked on encapsulation of hesperidin from citrus peel and performed the analysis on the obtained samples. The analysis included both physical and chemical characterization of the hesperidin microcapsules. Moreover, Marija had the chance to give a lecture about food waste in front of University students and teachers. The gathering was a chance to exchange and create new ideas and friendships, acquire knowledge, skills and competencies for working on science research and link them together as a basis for future
