Polyphenols were analysed by using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and spectrophotometric methods (total polyphenols and total flavonoids), antiradical activity by using DPPH and ABTS methods. Caffeic, <em>p<\/em>-coumaric, ferulic and sinapic acids were identified. Total polyphenols, total flavonoids and polyphenols determined with HPLC (467 \u2013 598, 104 \u2013 166, 94 \u2013 126 mg kg<sup>-1 <\/sup>FW, respectively) and antiradical activity showed statistically significant variations. Vara\u017edinski showed the highest polyphenol content, usually followed by \u010cepinski or Ogulinski while Bravo always showed the lowest polyphenol content.
