Summary: The project addresses new solutions in the environmental protection and food preservation, through the research and development of innovative edible and biodegradable, active packaging. The innovative concept of edible and biodegradable, active film with natural polyphenols as active components based on the latest results of research and technological development, will be confirmed through the applied research and low-level prototyping.

Aim: The goal of the project is to improve the capacity of the Faculty of Food Technology Osijek for the research, development and innovation through the improved readiness of edible and biodegradable active foil for the market.
