Probavni sustav je prvi sustav ljudskog tijela koji mo\u017ee imati koristi od prisutnosti polifenolnih spojeva. Njihova bioaktivnost unutar probavnog sustava povezana je s pozitivnim utjecajem na dijabetes, hiperkolesterolemiju, \u017eelu\u010dane ulkuse ili celijakiju. Me\u0111utim, jo\u0161 uvijek nema dovoljno znanja da se objasne potencijalno pozitivni u\u010dinci unutar svakog specifi\u010dnog dijela probavnog sustava. Kako bi se dodatno razjasnili razli\u010diti pozitivni u\u010dinci polifenolnih spojeva u svakom pojedinom dijelu probavnog sustava, potrebno je dalje istra\u017eivati njihove kemijske forme, koli\u010dine, bioaktivnosti i interakcije s razli\u010ditim sastojcima matrice hrane u svakom dijelu probave. Takva istra\u017eivanja \u0107e razjasniti korisne u\u010dinke polifenolnih spojeva u specifi\u010dnim dijelovima probavnog sustava i osigurati pove\u0107anje znanja koje \u0107e dovesti do dizajna strategije za postizanje najboljih korisnih u\u010dinaka u odre\u0111enim, specifi\u010dnim dijelovima probavnog sustava.<br><br><strong>Cilj<\/strong>: Cilj ovog projekta je istra\u017eiti pozitivne u\u010dinke polifenolnih spojeva iz vo\u0107a u pojedinim dijelovima probavnog sustava (\u017eeludac i tanko crijevo) i utjecaj prehrambenih vlakana b-glukana i celuloze, te namirnica koje sadr\u017ee ta vlakna na pozitivne u\u010dinke.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Summary<\/em><\/strong><em>: Due to a potentially positive role in human health, phenolic compounds from fruits are intensively studied. The gastrointestinal tract is the first system of the human body that can benefit from the presence of phenolic compounds. The bioactivities of phenolic compounds inside the gastrointestinal tract have been connected to the mitigation of diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, gastric ulcers, and celiac disease. However, there is still not enough knowledge to explain potentially positive effects within each, specific part of the gastrointestinal tract. To further elucidate various positive impacts of phenolic compounds in each individual part of the gastrointestinal tract, their forms, amounts, bioactivities and interactions with various constituents of the food matrix need to be further studied. Such studies will clarify the beneficial effects of phenoliccompounds in specific parts of the digestive tract and will provide an increase of the knowledge that will lead to the design of strategies to achieve the best beneficial effects in certain, specific parts of the digestive system.<\/em><br><br><strong><em>Aim:<\/em><\/strong>The aim of this project is to study the beneficial effects of phenolic compounds from fruits in specific parts of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach and small intestine), and the influence of the dietary fibers b-glucan and cellulose, and foods containing the same fiber, on those beneficial effects.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sa\u017eetak: Zbog potencijalno pozitivnog utjecaja na ljudsko zdravlje, polifenolni spojevi iz vo\u0107a se intenzivno istra\u017euju.
