Scientific contribution of the project
The expected effects of the research described in this project as well as the ultimate goal of the project, i.e. the development of heterogeneous biocatalysts based on waste from the agro-food industry will certainly have a significant impact and contribution in the field of lipase immobilization and waste recovery research.
The expectations are:
Lipases immobilized on functional carriers based on waste of the agro-food industry represent a technological and economic improvement of bio-catalytic production that will enable sustainable production based on a circular economy and approaching the „zero-waste“ model.
