World Congress on Food Safety and Nutrition Science – Rome, Italy

A conference “World Congress on Food Safety and Nutrition Science” was supposed to be held in vivo in Rome, Italy on October 25-26, 2021. However, due to the pandemic, the conference was held virtually. Our member team, Marija Banožić, participated in the conference with an oral presentation entitled: “Effect of high voltage electric discharge on the extraction of phenolic compounds from mandarin (Citrus unishu M. var. okitsu) peel waste” (authors: Marija Banožić*, Silvija Šafranko, Dora Bogadi, Stela Jokić). The conference’s aim is to bring together the experts in Food and Nutrition Science to share their research and knowledge in recent advancements in the food chemistry and industry.
